If Only You Could Understand My Language
Have you ever found yourself in a situation where you want to say something in a different language, but you simply cannot find the right words? There is always some part of meaning that is lost in translation, right? The gap between the languages of the Bible and our own languages is no different, perhaps it’s even wider. In this workshop, we will plug into this gap to explore what are some of the meanings of the text that might hide in between the languages.
Dorothea is 24 years old and was born in Croatia. Currently, she is finishing her MA in Theology at Newbold College (UK). Ever since she started studying theology she loved it because Dorothea discovered that the community that enjoys thinking about God and life feels like home. She is confident in her belief because the idea that God is working towards creating a home where everyone is welcomed and where everyone is offered joy and peace is wonderful. Besides studying, Dorothea also enjoys good conversations with friends and travelling with her husband João and her dog Nola.
