Exhibition of Nations

Friday is one of the most special days during the congress. It will be the time we go out into the city and make an impact. This will be done through two activities: Exhibition of Nations and the 5K Run to Help.

Through each of these two activities, you will be able to donate to our special ADRA project, which will have an impact on young people in Finland:

Project: YOUNG PEOPLE PREVENTING THE SOCIAL EXCLUSION OF YOUTH IN FINLAND

Social exclusion and loneliness produces deep and long-term damage to the living conditions, social and economic participation, emotional life, and health status of young people. By offering young people targeted support, information on health and wellbeing, and opportunities for positive integration into the local community, youth work is able to reduce the risk of further social exclusion. ADRA Finland works with local youth clubs such as OIKOS community to provide meaningful relationships and activities from young people to young people.

Exhibition of Nations

We will set up a small “marketplace” next to the lake where you, and the local people from Lahti, will be able to experience each country’s culture. It will be like traveling through Europe. You will have your own AYC22 passport, and if you get all the stamps from all the countries, there will be a reward at the end!

You will also be able to donate to the ADRA Project during Exhibition of Nations, at the Info Tent.
