5K Run to Help
Friday is one of the most special days during the congress. It will be the time we go out into the city and make an impact. This will be done through two activities: Exhibition of Nations and the 5K Run to Help.
Through each of these two activities, you will be able to donate to our special ADRA project, which will have an impact on young people in Finland:
ADRA Project: YOUNG PEOPLE PREVENTING THE SOCIAL EXCLUSION OF YOUTH IN FINLAND
Social exclusion and loneliness produces deep and long-term damage to the living conditions, social and economic participation, emotional life, and health status of young people. By offering young people targeted support, information on health and wellbeing, and opportunities for positive integration into the local community, youth work is able to reduce the risk of further social exclusion. ADRA Finland works with local youth clubs such as OIKOS community to provide meaningful relationships and activities from young people to young people.
5K – Run to Help
You can also contribute and impact the people in Finland by running (or walking).
Your registration fee will be donated to the ADRA Project: YOUNG PEOPLE PREVENTING THE SOCIAL EXCLUSION OF YOUTH IN FINLAND.
The minimum registration fee is 5 euros. You can choose to donate more. You will be able to register at the Info Desk (cash or credit card), via the congress app, on this page (we will post the registration form starting 22 July) or on-site the day of the run.
In addition to that, we will donate 10 euros per runner who signs up and runs, up to a total amount of 5,000 euros.
